Chu Mom Ray National Park (CMRNP)

Chu Mom Ray National Park (CMRNP) is located in the western Kon Tum province of Viet Nam, in the Central Highlands. It is named after the highest mountain in the region, the Chu Mom Ray, and covers an area of 56,621 hectares. The park is under threat from various factors that threaten its biodiversity, including traditional agriculture, traditional livestock herding and grazing, exploitation of wildlife and forest products, invasive exotic species and diseases, over or destructive fishing, small-scale logging and fuelwood, fire, local mining, boundary conflicts and land claims, road or infrastructure construction, recreation or tourist use, management unit capacity, and management planning.
