Rodrigo Fuentes Executive Director Rod has been working for 27 years in the field of environment and natural resources as a consultant and/or technical advisor to different intergovernmental and multi-lateral organizations such as the ASEAN, Asian Development Bank, United Nations agencies and the World Bank where his work brought him to countries such as China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Pakistan, Syria, Switzerland and Thailand. A sustainable development and urban and regional planning expert, Rod also specializes in environmental program design and project development, policy and institutional assessment, environmental monitoring and assessment, and capacity development in environmental management and sustainable development. Rod Fuentes holds a Forestry degree and a masteral degree in Urban and Regional Planning, both from the University of the Philippines.

Mr. Reynaldo F. Molina
Resource Mobilization Specialist Rey has 21 years of professional experience in project management and implementation, financial management and budget planning, project monitoring and evaluation, procurement and resource mobilization. He was a Project Evaluation Officer of the Philippines’ Department of Environment and Natural Resources for more than 16 years where he handled different official development assistance (ODA) programs and projects. Prior to ACB, Rey worked for almost three years at the Project Coordinating Unit of the UNEP-GEF South China Sea Project based in Bangkok, Thailand. Rey has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, and a Masters in Public Management degree from the Development Academy of the Philippines.

Lauro S. Punzalan Liason and Protocol Specialist Larry has 28 years of experience in protected area management and conservation. He was with the ASEAN Regional Center for Biodiversity Conservation (ARCBC) from 1998-2004, where he served as chief of the Networking and Institution Building unit in 2000. He then became a part of the transition team that established the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity. Prior to his posting at ACB, Larry was a Supervising Ecosystem Management Specialist at the Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau. He has masteral units in Management, Major in Development Management from the University of the Philippines, Los Banos, and has a Bachelor of Science in Forestry degree from the Araneta University.
