Unique Flora:
- Calamus merrilii and 10 dipterocarp species including Shorea contorta, Shorea negronensis, and Shorea polysperma
- Plants with high medicinal values,such as sili-sili (Drimys piperita), and kalingag (Cinnamomum mercadoi)
- High valued ornamentals include Medinillamalindangensis,Caryota cuminggii, pitcher plants,and orchids
Unique Fauna: Aside from the Philippine eagle, significant species in the park include the Philippine brown deer; Philippine tarsier (Tarsius syrictha); Philippine macaque; Philippine rufous hornbill; palm civet and civet cat; Draco volans; flying lemur; monitor lizard; Malindang shrew; olive-capped flowerpecker; and Mindanao warty pig.
Habitat Types: Major habitats are grassland, dipterocarp forest, lower montane forest, upland wetland, and mossy and associated forest.
The mystical Lake Duminagat, which is one of the historical landmarks and ritual sites of the Subanen tribe, is ensconced in the national park.
Other activities that Mt. Malindang Range Natural Park offers its guests include bird watching and hiking through nature trails to see wildlife and various attractions such as the Malindang peaks, the Sebucal Hotspring and Piduan Falls.
